My name is Laura and I currently work as a Behavior Interventionist in an urban school setting. The program that I work for is a therapeutic model, and our student population consists of students with social / emotional and behavioral challenges.
I have a B.A. in music and am working on earning my MSeD in Special Education. I do plan on using both of my degrees in the classroom to help my students succeed, and because who doesn't like singing about fractions?
I have experience using ABA behavior Supports, although I personally lean towards Dr. Ross Greene's collaborative problem solving model.
